Mass Email Marketing

Do you have a large group of current or potential clients you would like to keep in contact with on a regular basis? First of all, congratulations! But you need to keep a few things in mind. First and foremost if you are considering using your ISP (Internet Service Provider) you might want to think again. Unless you have previously made arrangements with your ISP for sending a large number of emails in a short period of time, you could run the risk of having your Internet service either shut off, or being marked as a spammer. Neither is a particularly enticing alternative.

So what do you do? There are a number of providers that will allow you to send as many emails as you need without worrying about these downsides of email marketing. In addition to simply sending out a large number of emails they offer other services as well – services such as multiple templates to help you design your marketing message and built-in tools to see how high (or hopefully low) your email will rank on their "spam" scale so it won't be rejected by your contacts (or perhaps more importantly, their email service providers). You can usually prepare your messages ahead of time and schedule them for sending at a future date and time of your choosing. They will normally also allow you to track which emails are opened and you can even send out different versions of your emails and find out which version has better results.
